Chase Elliott wins seventh straight NASCAR Cup Series Most Popular Driver award

Another year and another Most Popular Driver award for Chase Elliott in the NASCAR Cup Series. This is his seventh straight win. Elliott has a hold on the NASCAR fanbase unlike any other and it shows each year when they come out to vote for him.

A lot of people thought someone like Kyle Larson would be able to overtake Chase Elliott. Even with his dirt racing and the Indy 500 attempt, Larson fell short this season. Perhaps no one will take Elliott down for as long as he races?
