Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid‘s shoe game is on point for Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Reid, who in just a few hours will be coaching in his sixth Super Bowl as a head coach, will be doing so rocking the all-black Supreme Air Force 1s. Reid won’t be playing, but he sure will be looking and feeling good in the classic Air Force 1s.

The three-time Super Bowl champion has been known to wear the all-black Air Force 1s, seen wearing them in previous Super Bowls. A previous pair of his, which he wore in the Super Bowl LIV victory over the San Francisco 49ers, are on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. If the Chiefs pull off an unprecedented three-peat in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, perhaps the Hall of Fame will have to create more room.

Andy Reid confirms he will again coach Kansas City Chiefs in 2025

One thing’s for certain: Whatever the outcome, this won’t be Reid’s swan song. Reid said Tuesday he will return as Chiefs head coach for the 2025 NFL season.

Between his current tenure in Kansas City and before that with the Philadelphia Eagles, Reid has been a head coach for the last 26 seasons. Reid will make it 27 next season, as he’s showing zero signs of slowing down at 66 years of age.

“I enjoy being around the guys,” Reid said. “I enjoy the football games. You can’t put in the hours that we do and not enjoy it. So, I really love the game.”

Shortly after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl last year, Reid signed a contract extension, keeping him under contract through the 2029 season. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Reid became the highest-paid coach in the NFL.

Depending on how long Reid continues to wear the headset on the sideline, he should have a shot to break Don Shula‘s all-time record for most regular season wins. Reid is fourth all-time in regular season wins among head coaches at 273, 55 short of Shula. With 28 postseason victories, Reid is three shy of tying Bill Belichick for the NFL record.
