The Las Vegas Metro police have issued a warrant for a Kansas City Chiefs player wanted in connection with Alvin Kamara’s battery case during the Pro Bowl. The warrant is for defensive back Chris Lammons, in connection with an alleged battery case that resulted in the arrest of New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara after the Pro Bowl.

In addition to Lammons, two other suspects were also brought in on Monday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit battery, and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm. Details have come out via a case docket obtained by The Times-Picayune. While the charges against Lammons were not indicated by the report, the charges faced by all three of the other men involved currently are the same. Kamara’s charges initially listed “battery resulting in substantial bodily harm,” but now includes “conspiracy to commit battery” as well.

Nevada law defines criminal conspiracy as “two or more people making an agreement to violate the law,” detailed Pro Football Talk.

“Battery resulting in bodily harm in Nevada carries a sentence of one to five years in prison with a mandatory fine of $10,000 if convicted. Conspiracy to commit battery, in this instance as a gross misdemeanor, carries a penalty of up to 364 days in jail and/or up to $2,000 in fines.

“The victim told police he was leaving Drai’s After Hours at The Cromwell Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in the early morning hours Feb. 5 when multiple people began hitting and kicking him. The four men allegedly stomped on the victim approximately 23 times and punched the victim nine times, police said.”

The incident took place outside a nightclub in Las Vegas, and video surveillance shows Alvin Kamara and his friends push the man before punching and stomping him repeatedly on the ground. The injuries sustained required medical attention at a local hospital and set off a police investigation.

According to a press release, around 5:50 p.m. local time on Sunday, a police officer responded to the hospital where a victim reported that they were “battered at a nightclub.” Alvin Kamara then was identified as the suspect, and arrested before being transported to Clark County Detention Center. Kamara’s court date is currently scheduled for Mar. 8.
