Chiefs receiver Hollywood Brown leaves game with shoulder injury vs. Jaguars

This isn’t what you want to see in an opening preseason game. New Chiefs receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown injured his shoulder and didn’t return against the Jaguars.
The Chiefs social media account shared Brown’s injury status at halftime, listing him as “questionable” to play in the second half.
You can see what happened to Brown below. The Jaguars put a big rush on Patrick Mahomes. Still, Mahomes got the ball out and completed it to Brown.
Jaguars cornerback Montaric Brown made the tackle, with the Chiefs receiver going down hard on his shoulder.
The Chiefs, the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, needed receivers to bolster their offense. Mahomes and Travis Kelce can only do so much. So they signed Brown, a former first-rounder, in the off season. They then selected Xavier Worthy, who set the 40-yard dash record at the NFL Combine, in the first round.

Brown caught only one pass in his debut for the Chiefs. And it was on the first KC play, which seems ominous.
The receiver, if he stays healthy, will combine with Worthy to give the Chiefs the speediest par of receivers this side of the Dolphins.
The Ravens selected Brown in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He’d been the deep-play guy at Oklahoma for back-to-back No. 1 draft picks Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray. Brown played in Baltimore for three seasons, then the Ravens traded him to the Cardinals. He signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Mahomes saw some light action, completing three of his four passes for 27 yards. Kelce caught one pass for seven yards and took a seat. Worthy played, briefly, but wasn’t targeted by Mahomes. He also took an early seat.
