Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney claims his Twitter was hacked, deletes account after spat with Giants fans
Chiefs receiver Kadarius Toney deleted his Twitter account on Tuesday, saying someone hacked it. However, there still was a trail of Giants carnage all over social media.
“My apologies,” Toney wrote. “I got hacked.”
Whether he really was hacked or he actually sent the messages, the tweets/messages involved fans of his former team, the New York Giants. The Chiefs traded for Toney last October. The Giants had selected the former Florida Gator star in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Before Toney deleted his account, several people took screen shots of the offensive posts. Others posted audio of the messages. One was from a Twitter account belonging to a Giants fan who goes by HoodiJay. Warning, the voice message contains many, many expletives.
Here’s another account belonging to a Giants fan with a purported NSFW message from Kadarius Toney. If you delete the obscenties, the subject is whether Daniel Jones, the Giants quarterback, misses his old receiver.
Then there was this DM to a young woman wearing a Yankees jersey. She was flashing a peace sign. The Kadarius Toney account, to put it as delicately as possible, told her to lose weight.

The woman, who goes by the Twitter name BigBlueMal, posted after the fact that the Toney account had blocked her.

She added: “’y’all I am in NO way innocent one bit you know I got a big mouth. It’s the internet lmao. I definitely wasn’t expecting that this tho. I’m at work so I gotta mute this but anyway I got absolutely COOKED by KT I’m still laughing.”
In a later tweet, she said: “y’all I’ll say one last thing on the matter. I am not legit at all offended by what was said. I thought it was actually hilarious to be honest. (And) I knew what I was getting myself into when I made that public. But I’ve talked so much shit to (Kadarious Toney) in the past, he literally just threw it back. It’s the internet, and we all fxxk around on here. And to those who say “you baited him for clout” can kiss my (butt). I had my fun and have no shame. This ugly and tubby loser stands by what she says always.”
Toney was tweeting about the Giants Monday night. He posted “Y’all too worried bout me.…Tell Saquon sign the deal.” (Saquon Barkley may hold out of training camp if the running back and the Giants don’t come up with a long-term deal).
Kadarius Toney didn’t live up to his first-round status with the Giants because of injuries and two stints on the COVID reserve list. However, with the Chiefs, he set a Super Bowl record with a 65-yard punt return. And his catch helped set up Kansas City’s winning score.
We’re thinking he may want to keep a low profile until training camp starts on July 25.
