Atlanta Braves legend Chipper Jones has bought a new house in Georgia. Not just any house, Jones bought himself a $5.4 million farmhouse.

Among the incredible amenities in the house are a saltwater pool, a pickleball court, a party barn, and a bourbon room. What that party barn entails is unclear, though it is apparently unique from the bourbon room.

Take a look at Chipper Jones’ new home, here:

The four-bedroom and five-bathroom house is absolutely gorgeous and is sitting at 9,000 square feet. It’s so gorgeous, frankly, that $5.4 million feels like a steal for the house.

Of course, there are few players in Atlanta Braves history more deserving of this house than Chipper Jones. The Florida native first came to the majors in 1993 before going back down and coming up again for his rookie season in 1995. That year, he was second in Rookie of the Year voting and won a World Series with the Braves.

From there, Chipper Jones went on to win the MVP in 1999, two Silver Slugger Awards, and be named an eight-time All Star. He had longevity too, leading the league in batting average in 2008 while hitting .364 for the season.

In 2018, Jones made the Hall of Fame with 97.2% of the vote on his first ballot. In 2021, Atlanta decided to hire Jones as a part-time hitting consultant. That year, Atlanta and Jones won another World Series.

With a resume like that, Chipper Jones may as well celebrate the rest of his retirement in a beautiful home.

MLB legend gets a new job

MLB legend Albert Pujols retired from baseball with 703 home runs following the 2022 season. Once he’s eligible, he’ll certainly be a first ballot Hall of Fame inductee. However, he couldn’t stay away from the game and has taken a new job in baseball.

Albert Pujols is going to be the Special Assistant to the Commissioner, acting as an advisor to the commissioner on matters that impact players. Along with that, he will be giving advice on how to handle issues that affect players from the Dominican Republic, his home country.

All of this comes shortly after MLB locked out players ahead of the 2022 season.

Pujols is best known for his tenure with the St. Louis Cardinals. That’s the team he started his career with before signing a massive free agent deal with the Los Angeles Angels. After spending a little bit of time with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he returned to St. Louis to finish his career.
