Buescher posted a photo to Twitter showing that he had the new trophy buckled up for its ride home. Better safe than sorry, right?
Doesn’t look like that trophy is going anywhere!
Winning one race on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit is an incredibly difficult thing to achieve. Hitting victory lane in back-to-back weeks? That’s an impressive accomplishment.
And it’s helped Buescher in terms of the playoff race and the driver standings entering the final stretch of the regular season. He sits 11th in points following his two victories on the track.
Buescher also owns five finishes in the top five and 10 inside the top 10.
So, while he’s put together a pretty solid season, Buescher has easily elevated his status over the last two weeks. And he seems to be enjoying the hell out of the victories.
