Providence police have released the bodycam video of a traffic stop involving New England Patriots defensive lineman Christian Barmore. The release comes after Barmore alleged racial profiling was involved in the stop in a now-deleted social media post.

The video, obtained by Boston 25 News, shows Barmore wondering why he was pulled over. Police said there were issues with his vehicle’s registration and noted tinted windows, as well as a cover on a temporary license plate. Officers also said they found drugs in the vehicle, including an ash cup with a blunt and several tubes filled with marijuana. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m., and police said Barmore had an “attitude” during the stop.

“I’m a football player bro. I’m not here for none of that,” Barmore told the officers in the video. “Don’t touch me, ya’ll crazy. I dare you to touch me. I’ll sue all you.”

In a post on social media, Barmore alleged racial profiling played a role in the stop. He apparently deleted it sometime Wednesday, according to Boston 25 News.

“I just experienced for the first time 5 Providence cops being very unprofessional racism at its finest,” Barmore wrote.

The video also shows Barmore talking on a speakerphone with his mother, who told officers he was on blood thinners. He hasn’t played a game for the Patriots this year as he deals with blood clots, and there is no timetable for his return.

Patriots coach Jerod Mayo addressed Christian Barmore’s arrest Wednesday during his press conference with reporters, saying he was aware of the incident. However, he opted to keep any details in-house about how the team will handle it moving forward.

“I had a conversation with him this morning. … But for this time here with you guys I just want to focus on Jacksonville,” Mayo said. “What I will say is that I met with the captains and we had a conversation on how to approach it as a team. Those guys handled it in the locker room. It is a conversation we had, and we’ll see how it goes, and how it looks going forward.”
