Christopher Bell reacts to possibility of winning four-straight Cup Series races

Next week at Las Vegas, Christopher Bell has the chance to do something that hasn’t been done since Jimmie Johnson in 2007 – win four races in a row. No one in the NASCAR Cup Series has done so since Seven-Time when he was just a one-time.
Christopher Bell has won three races in a row. That is the first time since 2021 when Kyle Larson did it. Bell is the first driver to win three in a row in the Gen 7 car.
Since the beginning of the year at the Tulsa Shootout, Bell has been fantastic. Going back to Daytona-2 last season, he has an average finish of 6.93 in 16 races.
In his winner’s press conference, Bell was asked about the potential for a fourth win in a row. He would love to do it, and he knows Las Vegas is a good track for him to do it.
“Man, that’s special. That is incredibly special,” Bell said. “To hear that and know that I have that opportunity ahead of me. We’re going to a darn good place for it.
“This sport has become so incredibly tough with the parity that we have. The teams are so tight. The cars are really tight. The drivers are tight. Like, everybody performs at a high level. There are 10, 15 guys that could win on any given week.
“It was really cool to see. I don’t even know how many teams we had lead the race, Ryan Preece was up there leading for the first time in a long time. The field is littered with talented drivers, teams, crew chiefs. It’s hard to do. I acknowledge that. I’m just kind of in disbelief that I have that opportunity, but I’m looking forward to it.”

Christopher Bell makes huge statement at Phoenix
No matter how you cut it, Christopher Bell and his three wins are massive. Atlanta and COTA were both wildcard races that could have produced a surprise playoff winner. Shane van Gisbergen would have loved to have won at the road course. Carson Hocevar was close to winning Atlanta.
So, this has real consequences for this season. It was also a huge statement to win dominantly at Phoenix, the championship track. If he picks up a win at Las Vegas next week that would only make it more impressive.
Even if he doesn’t win at Vegas, he has Homestead-Miami and Martinsville right after with Darlington and Bristol after that. There are many opportunities early in the season for Bell to rack up more and more wins.
The speed that this 20 team has shown on multiple different track types should be scary for the rest of the field. Road course, superspeedway, one-mile oval – I’m sure that speed won’t go away at the intermediate tracks, either.
It is Christopher Bell’s world right now and we’re just living in it. Can Bell pull off the four-peat?
