Cincinnati Bengals call out Browns for copying white alternate uniform look
The Cleveland Browns set the NFL world ablaze with their new alternate uniforms on Tuesday, but the Cincinnati Bengals remained unimpressed.
Evidently, the AFC North rivalry extends into the equipment manager’s office, as well. The Browns unveiled all-white alternate uniforms, and the Bengals took exception to it.
First, check out Cleveland’s icy new look, which they’ll rock multiple times throughout the 2023 NFL season.
That’s pretty sweet, but the Bengals, who introduced white uniforms of their own over recent seasons, had some jokes to make about them. Basically they cued up the Soulja Boy meme, exclaiming that the Browns stole their whole flow.
As you can see, the Bengals shared a video to Twitter of their team owner reminiscing over the Browns accusing Cincinnati over ripping off their uniforms, but explaining it was actually the other way around. History repeated itself on Tuesday, at least in the Bengals’ eyes.
However, it didn’t end there, as the Browns had their own rebuttal, asking google when the last time the Browns wore white was, which actually happened before Cincinnati was ever even formed as a franchise. Cleveland wasn’t letting their AFC North rivals get the best of them there.
Alas, the rivalry is already piping hot between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals. If this is how animated they’ll get over uniforms, imagine what the games will be like in 2023.

More on Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals
Although the Browns were disappointing in 2022 and the Bengals made it back to the postseason, Cleveland still got the best of Cincinnati in their first encounter last season.
The Browns defeated the Bengals by a score of 32-13 on Halloween of last year. The team’s offense was humming, and it was a kick in the teeth for Cincinnati. However, it jumpstarted their run last season, as the team made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game.
On the way, Cincinnati got some revenge on the Browns, defeating them by a score of 23-10 on Sun. Dec. 11. The Bengals held star running back Nick Chubb just 34 rushing yards, and took care of business over their AFC North rival.
At the least, we won’t have to wait long to see the rivalry renewed in 2023, as Cincinnati and Cleveland open the season against each other. It should be a great game, and both the Bengals and the Browns will be roaring for a win to start the year.
