WATCH: Ja'Marr Chase beats defender one-on-one for second score versus Chiefs
Cincinnati Bengals rookie Ja’Marr Chase is having a day versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The former LSU Tiger elevated and beat his defender one-on-one for his second score of the day in the second quarter on Sunday.
Quarterback Joe Burrow found Chase at the front-right pylon. He put the ball in the perfect position for his receiver for the score. The Bengals still trail by two scores after the 18-yard touchdown.
Ja’Marr Chase also scored on the drive prior. He took a short pass from Burrow 72 yards to the house. According to NextGen stats, Chase went over 21 miles per hour on the catch and run.
Going into the halftime locker room, Chase has five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns.

Sunday, as the Bengals prepared to host the 11-4 Chiefs, Burrow pulled up to the stadium in Cincinnati in style. He wore a T-shirt with Ja’marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd pictured front and center.
Burrow has now thrown for 4,165 yards through 15 games, completing roughly 70% of his passes. He has amassed 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Much of his success can be attributed to the Bengals’ trio of wide receivers, each of whom has more than 60 receptions.
Ja’Marr Chase had 68 receptions for 1,163 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns coming into Sunday. Tee Higgins has 71 receptions for 1,029 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Finally, Tyler Boyd has 63 receptions for 792 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
