Clint Bowyer’s son, Cash, takes brutal jab at his dad before NASCAR return at Nashville
Clint Bowyer is making his triumphant return to NASCAR tonight in the Craftsman Truck Series, and his son Cash has harsh criticism for him. When you are a former driver, your kids don’t always know about all of the great things that you have done in the past.
Today at Nashville Superspeedway, Clint Bowyer is returning to NASCAR in the Craftsman Truck Series. Bowyer is racing for the Spire Motorsports No. 7 team this week with Rush Truck Centers on board.
Before qualifying, Michael Waltrip caught up with Clint and his son Cash. The young Bowyer had to bust his dad’s chops for not having a win yet this race season. Cash on the other hand has plenty to his name.
Cash is also repping a Kyle Larson “Yung Money” hat. Good looks, kid!
Clint Bowyer is going to have a chance to pull off a great return in the Truck Series. Nashville Superspeedway was a very kind track to Bowyer over the years. Between 2004 and 2008, Bowyer raced at Nashville nine times and finished in the top-5 every single race with a win coming in 2005.
If there was a track that Bowyer would return to, it was always going to be Nashville. Not to mention, Bowyer likes to party a bit and Music City is the perfect place to get some great racing and partying done.

Will Clint be able to prove his son wrong and pull off the win tonight?
Clint Bowyer is in a great truck at Nashville
As far as his chances go, Clint Bowyer should not be slept on heading into tonight’s Truck Series race. He is a talented driver who has kept his skills as sharp as one can in retirement. 10 wins in the Cup Series, you can’t discount that.
In just 14 Truck Series races, Bowyer has three wins, two poles, and 10 top-10 finishes. He has the talent and the equipment this weekend to compete up front and I expect him to be up front early and often.
Spire Motorsports has done great in the Truck Series. Tricon Garage is still the team to beat, ultimately. As long as they have Corey Heim, that is. Bowyer in the 7 truck, I would feel a lot worse about many other drivers in his position.
Clint Bowyer will have to knock the rust off and try to win a race all in the same night. Do you think he can get the job done in Nashville?
