With February here and there being just over five weeks until Selection Sunday, the latest odds are out as to who could win the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Two teams have separated themselves from the rest of the field with odds better than (+1000). However, from there, it would be anyone’s tournament with nine teams from (+1000) to (+3000) and nineteen more with value from (+3500) to (+10000).

As for conferences, the SEC led the way on this list with nine, including four in the top-seven. However, the Big 12, while having the third-most in total, had the most in the top-ten with five of those spots. The Big Ten had the second-most with seven while the Big East had four and the ACC and WCC then had two apiece.

With that, here are the top-thirty teams per FanDuel with the best odds to win the national championship in San Antonio:

Auburn Tigers (+370)

Auburn, the top-ranked team in the country, is an ever-so slight favorite to win the national title in college basketball. That’s with what they’ve done to this point in the regular season with them on a fourteen-game win streak right now, especially now at the halfway point of their conference schedule in the SEC.

As of today, the Tigers are 21-1 overall, with about as good of a lone loss as any team has, and 9-0 in league play as the heavy favorite to win the Southeastern Conference. That has them all but certain to be a No. 1 seed and, right now, the No. 1 overall seed come the tournament next month.

Duke Blue Devils (+380)

Duke is then just slightly in second in odds to win the title as an even heavier favorite out of the ACC.

The Blue Devils are on the nation’s longest current winning streak of sixteen games, including the sport’s lone win over Auburn and a 12-0 start in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a chance to be undefeated in league play, to be at 20-2 overall. That also has them very favored to be one of the four seeds at No. 1 in March.

Houston Cougars (+1100)

After an alright non-conference, Houston is right back in the title mix in a tie for the third-best odds with where they are in their second season in the Big 12.

The Cougars are 17-4 after winning fourteen of their last fifteen, including a 10-1 record atop the Big 12. That has them as the favorite in the league with an opportunity to be one of the No. 1 seeds in a tournament where the Final Four is three hours west of them in-state.

Alabama Crimson Tide (+1100)

Alabama is tied with the Cougs for the third-best odds to win the national championship. That’s with a resumé where just about the only thing against them is being in the same league as their in-state rival.

The Crimson Tide are 19-3 overall and 8-1 in conference with that record having them behind only Auburn, in both the standings and the odds, out of the Southeastern Conference. They’ll have their chances to bolster themselves further with how their schedule sets up over the final month of the season, including a pair of matchups against the Tigers.

Tennessee Volunteers (+1500)

Tennessee, although having had their issues in conference, are is also in the running out of the SEC.

The Volunteers are 19-4 overall but sit at just 6-4 in league play with a 3-3 mark over their past six. Still, they and their top-rated defense will be in contention with a better chance of winning the NCAA Tournament as a potential No. 1 seed than they do as of now in the SEC Tournament.

Iowa State Cyclones (+1700)

Iowa State would have seen their odds take a hit over the past three weeks with their stretch over the past six in the Big 12.

The Cyclones have dropped four of six, including a three-game skid with all the losses by double digits, to be at 17-5 overall. They’ll now need to get back to where they were over February if they hope to have better chances of winning the Big 12 or NCAA Tournaments.

Florida Gators (+2000)

Florida is yet another contender out of the Southeastern Conference with them at 19-3 overall and 6-3 in the SEC.

There’s no shame in being behind only Auburn and Alabama in conference as one of four teams in the league that has a chance to be a No. 1 seed. The Gators will have their chance at both too, along with multiple other ranked opponents, before getting into the tournament.

Arizona Wildcats (+3000)

Arizona has completely turned around their season after starting at 4-5 through mid-December.

Since then, the Wildcats have won twelve of thirteen to now be at 16-6 overall and 10-1 in the Big Ten. That has them behind only Houston in and odds to win the league as they’re tied with the Cougars in the standings with a month to go. They’re also the first of four teams tied at these odds, including one of three out of their own conference.

Kansas Jayhawks (+3000)

Kansas has had an uneven last two months of the season with them at 16-6 and 7-4 in the Big 12.

After a 7-0 start, the Jayhawks are 9-6 in December and January with some good wins but also some rough losses, including each of their four in league play. They have a decent stretch upcoming to set themselves up better in conference, though, with them having fallen off over the last fifteen games both nationally for the tournament and within the Big 12.

Texas Tech Red Raiders (+3000)

Texas Tech technically rounds at the top-ten with one of four teams tied at odds of (+3000).

That’s with the Red Raiders at 18-4 overall and 9-2 in conference, one game out of the tie atop the Big 12, as winners of seven straight. With them right in the running for the league, they also have an outside chance at being a No. 1 seed with the Final Four being a potential in-state event for them as well.
