College Football Odds: Betting lines for 2025 ACC Champions

Clemson regained its spot atop the ACC this past season, beating SMU in the ACC Championship Game. FanDuel has released odds to win the 2025 ACC Championship, and the Tigers are the favorites to repeat.

Clemson has the best odds to win next year’s ACC title as the Tigers are slightly ahead of Miami. The Hurricanes just missed out on a spot in the ACC Championship Game in 2024. Here are the full odds from FanDuel to win the ACC:

Clemson Tigers, +270

Clemson snuck into the ACC Championship Game last season after Miami was upset by Syracuse in its regular season finale. The Tigers then beat SMU in the ACC title game to win the league and clinch a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Clemson appears to be loaded heading into the 2025 season, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback Cade Klubnik and most of his top weapons return. The Tigers also hired Tom Allen away from Penn State to run their defense. It’s understandable that Clemson is the favorite to repeat in the ACC.

Miami Hurricanes, +310

Even with Cam Ward gone, there are high expectations for Miami entering the 2025 season. The Hurricanes landed former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck out of the transfer portal, and the hope is that he can lead Miami to an ACC title.

The Miami defense will need to be better to win anything meaningful, though. The Hurricanes hired Corey Hetherman from Minnesota this offseason to take over on that side of the ball.

SMU Mustangs, +440

SMU made quite the first impression in its first season in the ACC. The Mustangs nearly won the league, finishing the regular season 11-1 (8-0), before dropping a heartbreaker to Clemson in the ACC title game.

SMU was active in the transfer portal and returns quarterback Kevin Jennings. It wouldn’t be a surprise at all to see the Mustangs playing for the conference title again in 2025.

Louisville Cardinals, +500

Jeff Brohm has done an excellent job at Louisville, going 19-8 across his first two seasons back at his alma mater. The Cardinals finished with a 9-4 (5-3) record in 2024. That included a win over eventual ACC champion Clemson on the road.

The Cardinals landed former USC quarterback Miller Moss out of the transfer portal. Louisville has put together a very good roster that is expected to compete for the ACC title.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, +1300

Georgia Tech was one of the surprises of the ACC last year, finishing with a 5-3 record in the conference and nearly upsetting Georgia in its rivalry game to end the regular season.

The Yellow Jackets return quarterback Haynes King for 2025 and could be ready to make some noise in the league. Brent Key has turned the Georgia Tech program around, and the Yellow Jackets were active in the transfer portal. This isn’t a team anyone will look forward to playing.

Florida State Seminoles, +1600

After winning the ACC in 2023, last season was nothing short of a disaster for the Seminoles. Florida State struggled to a 2-10 record, with its only wins coming against Cal and Charleston Southern.

Mike Norvell said this offseason that he is committed to turning the FSU program around, and he made plenty of staff changes in an effort to do so. We will see if those moves pay off and how much better Florida State is in 2025.

North Carolina Tar Heels, +2000

One of the biggest stories in football this offseason was North Carolina hiring Bill Belichick. NFL teams were interested in hiring the coaching legend, but instead he is in college football, leading the Tar Heels program.

UNC’s roster needs upgrading, but there’s no doubt that Belichick is one of the greatest football minds of all time. He is hoping to compete for championships during his time in Chapel Hill, although doing so in Year 1 will be a tough task.

Duke Blue Devils, +3000

Manny Diaz took over a Duke program that has historically struggled and kept the momentum going that Mike Elko helped create. The Blue Devils finished with nine wins in 2024, including a 5-3 mark in the ACC.

Quarterback Maalik Murphy entered the transfer portal this offseason after playing well in 2024, but the Blue Devils signed one of the top QBs in the portal in former Tulane star Darian Mensah. With Diaz running the defense, Duke could surprise some teams again this coming season.

Virginia Tech Hokies, +3500

Hopes were high for Virginia Tech entering the 2024 season, but the year did not go as planned. The Hokies were considered ACC Championship contenders, before falling to Vanderbilt to open the season and never really getting on track.

Virginia Tech went 6-7 in 2024 but does get quarterback Kyron Drones back for the 2025 season. Perhaps after this past year was disappointing, Virginia Tech can be a pleasant surprise in 2025.
