Commanders DB Jeremy Reaves proposes to girlfriend on field after overtime SNF win over Falcons
Following a scintillating showdown between the Washington Commanders and the Atlanta Falcons that determined a spot in the playoffs, Commanders special teams ace Jeremy Reaves had an extra special post-game moment.
The talented defensive back proposed to his girlfriend, getting engaged after the game.
“Somebody got engaged. Jeremy Reaves, who played 22 special teams snaps, has the most special one of all,” said Mike Tirico on the Sunday Night Football broadcast. “Take a knee at the end of the game for victory, there you go. Jeremy Reaves getting engaged here after the game. Of course she said yes, you’re in the playoffs now. Congratulations!”

Reaves has been in the NFL for six seasons now, entering the league out of South Alabama.
He has recorded 126 career tackles, as well as a sack, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble, an interception and five passes defended. This season, Jeremy Reaves had recorded 18 tackles and a forced fumble while playing in 15 games entering Sunday night’s matchup with Atlanta.
Reaves has certainly made a name for himself since entering the league. He was selected as a first-team All-Pro in 2022, while also making the Pro Bowl in the same year.
Now he’ll have an unforgettable moment to remember after a thrilling overtime win.
