Connor Mosack earns first career pole award during Truck Series qualifying at Atlanta

Tomorrow afternoon, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will take to the track at Atlanta with Connor Mosack the field to green. Driving for McAnally Hilgemann Racing, Mosack has his first career pole award in his 12th career start in the series.
Competing full-time this year for the No. 81 team, Connor Mosack is off to a great start. MHR had a number of quick trucks in qualifying with Tyler Ankrum, Jack Wood, and Daniel Hemric all making the top-10 in qualifying as well.
This is a track where some teams are set up for qualifying. Others prefer to stay in race trim. We’ll see how it all shakes out tomorrow afternoon.
Grant Enfinger will join Connor Mosack on the front row. Daniel Hemric, Rajah Caruth, Jack Wood, Jake Garcia, Tyler Ankrum, Stewart Friesen, Kyle Busch, and Ben Rhodes are the rest of the top-10.
Tomorrow’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race will be on FS1 at 1:30 PM EST. Last season this race was won by Kyle Busch. Ty Majeski and Corey Heim gave chase but were unable to take Rowdy down.
This season, he’s back. Busch won the race after qualifying P7 in 2024, he’s going to try to win the race from P9 this time around.
Getting a chance to race with Busch is a big deal for these young Truck Series drivers. He only gets five of these races each season and it might be his favorite time spent on the race track. It is a series that he has a deep passion for. And with 66 wins, who can blame him?

Connor Mosack on pole, rest of Truck Series starting lineup
The NASCAR Truck Series season is going to race this weekend at Atlanta and then will go on a one week break. No COTA for the trucks this season. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, we have a whole race to get through here first.
Connor Mosack is on pole for the first time in his career. He was the only driver to run sub-32 seconds. Here are the full qualifying results from the session this afternoon:
Tomorrow afternoon is all going to be able Kyle Busch and who can beat him. Let’s be honest. So, all eyes on Rowdy and what he’s going to do on the track.
With the reconfiguration, this track races differently. Now that the asphalt is worn out after a few years of racing and Georgia sun, the racing should also be improved.
