Cooper Rush injury update: Cowboys report surprising issue with QB
Dallas Cowboys (4-7) quarterback Cooper Rush was an addition to the injury report ahead of the Week 13 Thanksgiving Day home matchup against the New York Giants (2-9).
The Cowboys listed Rush as a limited participant on Monday’s estimated injury report with a knee injury, per Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Head coach Mike McCarthy didn’t seem overly concerned about Rush’s availability for Thanksgiving Day.
“He’s got some work to do, but I think we’re gonna be fine,” McCarthy said, via Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Dallas got off the schneid with the win in Washington. Next on its bucket list? Bringing an end to the six-game skid at home dating back to the NFC Wild Card Round defeat to the Green Bay Packers (8-3) last season.
“You’ve just got to get that ball rolling. That’s what we talked about, that was the message all week, get one,” Rush said. “Full team effort today, as everyone saw. It was awesome.”
