Cooper Rush and the Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement on a two-year contract worth up to $12.2 million per year, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Jeremy Fowler. Equity Sports CEO Chris Cabott negotiated the deal.

Rush took over as the Dallas Cowboys’ starting quarterback midway through the 2024 season after Dak Prescott went down with a season-ending injury. He threw for 1,844 yards, 12 touchdowns and five interceptions this past season.

He spent the first seven years of his NFL career in Dallas, where he played in 35 games for the Cowboys. Rush totaled 3,463 yards, 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions over that span, with most of his production coming in his final four seasons. Although, 2024 was his most productive.

2024 wasn’t his first 1,000-yard passing season. In 2022, Rush played in nine games for the Cowboys that season, completing 94 of his 162 passing attempts for 1,051 passing yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions.

Now, Rush heads to Baltimore to backup another star quarterback, this time playing behind former NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. Jackson is coming off the best season of his career statistically having thrown for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for an addition 915 yards and four touchdowns.

The Ravens finished the 2024-25 regular season with a 12-5 record, winning the AFC North in the process. Baltimore finished its season in the AFC Divisional Round after losing to the Buffalo Bills 27-25. With Jackson leading the flock once more, the Ravens are expected to be right back in the mix this coming season.

Dante Fowler, Dallas Cowboys reportedly agree to one-year deal

Dante Fowler has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Cowboys worth $8 million. The news of the agreement was first reported by Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

The former Florida Gators star spent two seasons with the Cowboys, prior to joining the Washington Commanders in 2024. Now, he’ll stay in the NFC East, but head back to Dallas, as the team shores up their defensive line amid the departure of players like DeMarcus Lawrence and Chauncey Golston.

Fowler is the latest addition among the team’s defensive line, as he’ll join star Micah Parsons and free agent addition Solomon Thomas. The Cowboys have been maligned throughout the past week, as they’ve let some talented players go, and some even had parting shots for Dallas on their way out.
