Corey LaJoie is set for the Daytona 500 in February, and the driver with big expectations for himself will have a pretty sweet sponsor for the event.

On Tuesday, LaJoie’s team — Spire Motorsports — took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reveal their sponsor for The Great American Race, and it’ll be the restaurant chain Chili’s adorning the car.

Check out the reveal below. We still haven’t been graced with what LaJoie’s car will look like, but Chili’s is a nice pull for Spire Motorsports.

“Spire Motorsports (handshake emoji) Chili’s,” Spire posted. “We’re excited to have @Chilis on board @CoreyLaJoie’s Camaro for The Great American Race!”

Moreover, that won’t be the only role Chili’s plays in LaJoie’s season. According to Kelly Crandall of RACER, “Chili’s will be the primary sponsor on Corey LaJoie’s car for the Daytona 500. They will also be an associate at Atlanta, Las Vegas and COTA.”

Alas, it looks like LaJoie knows where he’ll be celebrating if he finally achieves his first NASCAR victory in 2024. He’s come close over the last couple of seasons, but after helping Spire build their Cup Series program, he’s expecting to find Victory Lane during this season’s campaign.

“The expectations internally between Ryan Sparks and I, I feel like, if we don’t make the playoffs, we’ll be pretty frustrated. … We’ve been more or less operating as a one-car team the last three years and with this new car trying to fine-tune it and find that baseline is so important,” LaJoie said to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. “And for us to really only have one car of information to get better, really has stunted our growth.”

Never one to shy away from letting the world know of his confidence, LaJoie even called his shot for 2024 – he’s going to win a race.

“So, we’re going to win. I would be very upset and probably frustrated and feel like internally we probably didn’t meet our marks if we didn’t win or find ourselves in the playoffs.”

In terms of the final points standings, LaJoie had a career season in 2023. However, finishing 25th is nothing to write home about when you have wins and the playoffs on your mind, as LaJoie does.

Corey LaJoie has talked about it, now he’ll have to prove to the world what he believes, that he can be one of NASCAR’s best, and a threat to win week-in and week-out. We’ll see if he can get the job done.
