Micah Parsons reacts to wild Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift stat
Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons is now giving his two cents on the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance. In particular, Parsons had some thoughts regarding a stat that CBS ran during Sunday’s Chargers-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift was in attendance for the fourth game this season, and her third in Kansas City. Kelce put up huge numbers in the Chiefs’ 31-17 victory, finishing the contest with 179 yards and a touchdown on 12 catches.
During the game, CBS ran a stat that showed that Kelce has averaged 99 receiving yards per game in the four that Swift has attended. He’s averaging just 46 when he’s “left to his own devices,” as the graphic read.
Parsons had some thoughts about the stat. While he knows Kelce has been a star tight end in the league for a few years, he does believe he has additional motivation.
“Travis Kelce’s my boy,” Parsons said on The Edge with Micah Parsons. “Best tight end in the league for like the past three, four years, so it’s obviously not Taylor Swift. But I’m gonna tell y’all one thing. When there is a bad girl and she’s in attendance and she’s watching you, that gives you an extra boost of confidence.”
Swift has attended each of Kelce’s last two games. In the Thursday Night Football game against the Broncos, the tight end finished the night with 124 yards on nine catches.
Because of Kelce’s increased success in recent weeks, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid says the pop star can come around the stadium anytime she likes.

Andy Reid jokes about Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift
After the game, Reid essentially extended an invitation for Swift to come to any game she likes. Especially if Kelce continues to total more than 100 receiving yards frequently.
“Kelce keeps getting better with time,” Reid said. “Taylor can stay around all she wants.”
When rumors first started swirling about Swift and Kelce, Reid joked that he was the one who set the two up. So, he seems to be playing into this popular side story that has swept across the NFL.
Kansas City now owns a 6-1 record this season, losing only the season opener to Detroit. Kelce did not play in the Week 1 contest.
Through six games this season, the tight end has hauled in 48 passes for 525 yards and four touchdowns. He is well on his way to another 1,000-yard year.
