Sunday against Baltimore was another frustrating offensive day for the Cowboys. Until late in the fourth quarter, nothing was working for Dallas. Players were visibly animated on the sideline, mainly star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, with the performance.

Dallas has a quick turnaround but before fully moving on to New York on Thursday night, Lamb addressed his actions. He took responsibility not only for his body language but also the overall showing against the Ravens. Lamb plans on changing his approach and says he will be better down the line.

“Honestly I got to be truthful to myself and I played a part in that loss, a big part honestly, and nor did my body language nor attitude, approaching the situation help the situation or the outcome of the game,” Lamb said.

“…I know that’s not the player I am. I know that’s not the teammate I am… It was a bad game on my end. I fully take accountability in that. I will be better in the future. And it’s gonna be fine.”

While Lamb caught a season-high five passes, his 61 yards was the lowest of the season thus far. There was no touchdown connection with quarterback Dak Prescott either, the second time that’s occurred early on. Not what anybody involved with the Cowboys organization wanted after Lamb signed his historic contract extension.

At times, the FOX broadcast showed the Dallas sideline where tensions appeared to be rising. Lamb was shown speaking with Prescott just before the halftime break, seemingly not happy. He was not alone, though. A few defensive players showed emotions too as Baltimore was having their way with the entire Cowboys team for 3.5 quarters.

Taking fault for his actions means it’s time to completely move on and Lamb is likely happy to see the Giants next up on the schedule.

Going up against the NFC East foes has been quite fruitful for the wide receiver throughout his career. Fifty-two receptions for 722 yards in eight games is the most against any single opponent for Lamb. You can add three touchdowns too as Lamb is 7-1 against New York during his days in Dallas.

With Week 3’s frustrations seemingly smoothed over, Lamb is ready to get to Thursday Night Football. Luckily for him, not too long of a break as kickoff is just around 48 hours away from the Meadowlands, with Amazon Prime having the broadcast.
