Cowboys stars Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons ranked in top 20 in new NFL Top 100
The Dallas Cowboys did not have many of their stars highlighted during the NFL’s first few days of the Top 100 rankings reveal last week, but alas, it appears they’ve saved the best for (almost) last. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, quarterback Dak Prescott and edge rusher Micah Parsons were all revealed on Wednesday night as players ranked between 20 and 11.
Parsons was the team’s highest-ranked player last season, coming in at No. 9 overall. However, it’s Lamb taking the top spot this year. He received the highest ranking of his career yet at No. 13, which is 21 spots higher than in the 2023 rankings. The former Oklahoma Sooners star led the league in receptions last season and he was on the receiving end of 12 of Prescott’s league-high 36 passing touchdowns.
Prescott received high praise from his peers after his 2023 performance in which he had his best career completion percentage and just nine interceptions. He came in at No. 16 overall, one spot behind his Eagles rival Jalen Hurts. He has only been ranked higher than 16th once in his career, which was in 2017 when he came in at No. 14.
Meanwhile, Parsons, who was in contention for the DPOY last season, is ranked No. 17 overall, one spot behind his star QB. In 2023, the former Penn State standout posted a career-high in sacks with 14, and he had 99 QB pressures and 33 QB hits. He notched those career highs even with opponents double-teaming him on a career-high 21.4% of his pass rushes.
The NFL will continue to reveal its list of rankings with Nos. 10-1 revealed on Thursday night.
Cowboys CB DaRon Bland makes NFL Top 100 debut
Dallas Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland made one of the highest debuts in team history in the NFL Top 100 this week. After scoring a historic high of five pick-sixes last season with a league-high nine interceptions, it could’ve been assumed that the young corner would make the top 100 going into his third season. However, his ranking is now higher than most of his star teammates.

“I don’t want to say I deserve it, but I hope I’m on the list,” the soft-spoken cornerback said in the Top 100 video.
As the NFL continued its rollout of the Top 100 players in the league this week, Bland made his debut at No. 31 overall.
The first-time first-team All-Pro posted 53 tackles last season after coming into the starting lineup to replace Trevon Diggs in Week 2. When Diggs made his debut in the NFL Top 100 in 2022 after posting a league-high 11 interceptions, he came in ranked at No. 23.
The former Boise State standout has posted 14 interceptions through his first 23 games played and he led the league last season with nine. Bland now joins his teammate Zack Martin (No. 53) in the NFL Top 100 for the first time.
