Dak Prescott appears to call out Cowboys from sideline: 'We f---ing suck'
Quarterback Dak Prescott showed his frustration Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys continued their descent down the NFL standings. Prescott sat out the entire fourth quarter of an eventual 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons due to a hamstring injury.
As he sat on the sideline and watched the seconds tick off the clock to seal his team’s fate, Prescott was captured venting out loud. Although we can’t know for certain exactly what he said, reading his lips gives a pretty good guess.
“We f****** suck,” the QB appeared to say.
It’s hard to blame Prescott for feeling that way if it is indeed what he said. The loss Sunday marked the third straight for the Cowboys and dropped their season record to 3-5. Hope of making the playoffs appears to be dwindling if something doesn’t change in a hurry.
However, while not all of the blame can be placed on the quarterback, Prescott has been just as much a part of Dallas’ struggles as anyone else. He signed a four-year extension worth $240 million this offseason but so far hasn’t been playing up to that number.
Prescott entered Sunday’s game ranked ninth in the NFL in passing yards but had only 10 touchdowns compared to eight interceptions. He is also completing just 63.7% of his passes to rank 21st in the league.

The Cowboys have long been mocked for their postseason struggles but had at least remained competitive during the regular season over the past few years. However, it’s clear now that players are beginning to grow restless and something has to change.
Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said postgame that Dallas should be in the mix to make a trade over the next two days before the trade deadline on Tuesday. If they do, perhaps that can be the spark needed to turn things around.
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys will hope to snap their three-game losing streak next week when they take on the Eagles at home.
