Dak Prescott wears Ezekiel Elliott Ohio State jersey to Cowboys preseason game
It’s no secret who Dak Prescott considered to be his best friend over the past few years. He and Ezekiel Elliott have been tight since the moment the duo was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. Their numbers even combined to make up the Dallas area code 214, making for a perfect bromance.
Unfortunately, business decisions have to be made in the NFL. Elliott is no longer with the Cowboys, being released this offseason. The friendship with Prescott has not ended though, with the quarterback proving so ahead of Saturday’s preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Dallas is playing at AT&T Stadium and Prescott decided to arrive in style. He rocked up in an Elliott jersey, throwing back to the running back’s days at Ohio State. While Elliott may have worn No. 4 in Dallas, it was all about No. 15 with the Buckeyes.
A cool move from Prescott to show he is still supporting Elliott despite not being on the Cowboys’ roster. You can check out Prescott wearing the jersey here.
Prescott is still in Dallas but Elliott is continuing his career in New England with the Patriots. Tony Pollard will be continuing as the main running back for the Cowboys.

Throwback to college days for Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott
When seeing the No. 15 Elliott Ohio State jersey, most fans likely think about the 2014 national championship season. Specifically, the run dubbed ’85 yards through the heart of the South’ against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Elliott put the College Football Playoff semifinal game on ice, sealing a spot in the title game for the Buckeyes.
A few days later, Urban Meyer was raising another national championship trophy and the usage of Elliott was a huge reason why.
Prescott will never forget the 2014 season at Mississippi State either.
Arguably the greatest one in program history, the Bulldogs found themselves on a magical run. At one point, Prescott had led them to the No. 1 overall team in the country. Being the first-ever season of the College Football Playoff, Mississippi State was atop the inaugural rankings.
Everything eventually flamed out, losing three out of their last four games. Even so, Prescott went on a legendary run and will forever be remembered in Starkville. His success with the Cowboys only helps his legacy as well.
