Dallas dropped two consecutive games coming into Atlanta, now tracking towards a third. Next up is a pivotal NFC East home matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles (5-2). The Cowboys have underwhelmed offensively this season with Prescott under center, and those struggles could continue if Prescott is sidelined for any amount of time.
Rush, however, proved to be a capable backup option after Prescott missed five games during the 2022 campaign with a broken right thumb. Rush came in and led the Cowboys to a 4-1 record in his absence.
