Dak Prescott joins Dude Perfect in ownership deal of Major League Pickleball team in Frisco
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott expanded his investment portfolio this week. The multimillionaire joined popular trick-shot group Dude Perfect as part of the ownership team of the Frisco Pandas. The Frisco Pandas, previously known as the Frisco Clean Cause, is a professional pickleball team, part of Major League Pickleball.
The Dude Perfect pickleball account on Instagram announced Prescott’s new ownership stake on Thursday night.
Six weeks ago, the group initially announced its own partnership with the MLP. Now, they have one of the most familiar faces in Texas and national athletics in the fold as well.
Prescott, who signed a four-year, $160 million deal with the Cowboys in 2021, is one of the highest-paid players in the NFL. He has made $131 million in seven seasons, and that figure only includes his salary from Jerry Jones.
He’s also raked in an unknown amount in various endorsement deals. One sports encyclopedia lists Prescott’s endorsement earnings at $50 million from deals with AT&T, Adidas, SleepNumber, DirectTV, Beats by Dre and more.
Prescott adds pickleball squad to list of investments
In 2021, Prescott purchased a 20% stake in the Walk-Ons sports bar franchise, also partially owned by Drew Brees. At the time, the Dallas quarterback was just getting started in the process of investing his earnings.
“I wouldn’t say that there is one avenue that I want to just dive into more than the others,” Prescott said, via CNBC. “I’m a very open guy, so I’m open to learning about new things, new investments. Whatever it is, it has to be genuine and something I care about; something I would buy and not just some cash cow.”

Prescott could have even more money to invest coming up. The Dallas Cowboys front office has hinted at an extension for the star quarterback this offseason.
Although the Cowboys have said they have to have “a plan” to extend Prescott, Jones said those talks haven’t begun yet.
Prescott hasn’t divulged more than that in the last few weeks.
“100% I’m excited to be a Dallas Cowboy, as I said, always dreamed I’d be here,” Prescott said, via the Dallas Morning News‘ Calvin Watkins. “Now I’m here, I don’t expect to play for any other team. Now, it’s just about winning.
“Just trying to get that done. To hear from the front office, as you said, looking forward to an extension. When the time comes, it’ll happen. I’m with Stephen on it, it may just happen overnight. But when it happens, it happens. It’ll be great.”
