Karsyn Elledge did not hold back when talking about NASCAR driver Corey LaJoie. The granddaughter of Dale Earnhardt recently appeared on the Door Bumper Clear podcast and reacted to Lajoie’s comments on not wanting to compete in the Xfinity Series or Truck Series.

“I think he’s a whiny b*tch,” Karsyn Elledge said. “That’s what I think.”

Corey LaJoie will compete part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for Rick Ware Racing this season after not securing a full-time spot. He will also serve as an analyst for Prime Video this summer.

Lajoie was linked to several teams in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series and Truck Series but passed on the opportunities. He recently spoke to Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports, explaining why he doesn’t want to compete in the lower levels of NASCAR.

Corey LaJoie has no interest in competing in the Xfinity Series or Truck Series

“Yeah, because those guys that say they want to try to win, they win one or two truck races a year, and then they’re lifelong truck guys, and they never get to race on Sunday,” LaJoie said to Pockrass, per Motorsports Wire. “It’s all about Sunday. I don’t wanna go run F3, I wanna be a Formula 1 driver…Sure, do you wanna go pump the ego up and hold a trophy on a Friday when there’s 12 people in the grandstands?

“No, I wanna compete against the best because I feel like with every group that I’ve been, groups that I’ve built from the ground up, any given Sunday, we can go contend for a win whether it just speedway, and we can run top-10 any given week. I can’t also justify to my partners that have been invested in me to go down to the lower divisions cause they don’t get return for their money. They want to bring their people to the big show, not to a Friday or Saturday show.”

Lajoie has competed in 272 Cup Series races and has 11 top-10 finishes with no wins. In the Xfinity and Truck Series, the 33-year-old competed in 27 combined races and didn’t earn one victory.

Last year, LaJoie began the season racing for Spire Motorsports. He then joined Rick Ware Racing in September as Spire swapped Lajoie for Justin Haley.
