LOOK: Dak Prescott finishes full leg tattoo, complete with Dallas skyline
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is the latest NFL player to get inked by Andres Ortega and his team of tattoo artists at Ortega Ink. Prescott will step onto the field in 2023 with a brand new, full-sleeve leg tattoo, complete with the Dallas skyline.
Ortega showed off the final product, which took 10 hours and multiple sets of hands to complete, on his Instagram on Tuesday. The star QB is just the most recent Cowboys player to get a tattoo from the athlete-favorite artist. CeeDee Lamb had his entire back tattooed last month.
Like Lamb’s tattoo, Prescott also included a nod to Kobe Bryant with a black mamba and the Lakers legend’s logo. Other elements of the former Mississippi State standout’s tattoo include a sign depicting Pine Creek Estates mobile home community in Louisiana, the Daffy Duck character, a giant Pegasus, the Michael Jordan Jumpman logo, a moose, and the word “Faith.”
Prescott’s new ink now matches his full-sleeve tattoo on his throwing arm. The veteran QB is no stranger to body art. He has letters on his triceps for his family members, as well as the words “fight” and “finish” on his upper back.
Prescott took home the league’s Walter Payton Man of the Year award for 2022. The award recognizes one player for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field.
Off the field, Prescott leads the Faith Fight Finish foundation. The foundation’s aims span across several major issues, mainly, colon cancer research, mental health and suicide prevention, bridging the gap between law enforcement and communities they serve, as well as assistance for those facing life-challenging hardships.
