The Dallas Cowboys reportedly have their next offensive line coach in mind.
Per Bruce Feldman, the Cowboys are looking at Kansas State OC Conor Riley to coach their offensive line.
“SOURCES: The Dallas Cowboys are targeting K-State OC/O-line coach Conor Riley to become their new offensive line coach,” tweeted Feldman. “Riley is one of the most respected O-line coaches in college football amongst his peers.”
Riley just finished his sixth season last fall at K-State. He has coached the Wildcats’ offensive line in all of those seasons. He then took on the role as their offensive coordinator this year as well in place of Collin Klein.
Over that span since 2019, Kansas State has had offensive lines that have allowed just 1.5 sacks per game. That includes this past season where they allowed just one per game on the year with a total of 13. Then, with his work as their offensive coordinator, the Wildcats posted 30.8 ppg., which was Top-50 nationally, in a balanced attack that averaged 426.8 yards.

K-State had two offensive linemen drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. Dallas is more than aware of one of them as they selected Cooper Beebe in the third round last spring before he went on to start every game for the Cowboys this season. Now, this move would reunite him with his former coach in Manhattan.
As for other stops on his resumé, Riley also coached most notably at North Dakota State for six seasons. That included roles with their offensive line, run game, tight ends, and fullbacks.
This comes after Dallas has reset their staff this offseason with the hiring of their new head coach in Brian Schottenheimer. With Mike McCarthy not returning, neither would OLC Mike Solari, who had held that position for the past two seasons. With that, Schottenheimer has since made several hires of his own in Arlington with OC Klayton Adams and DC Matt Eberflus among multiple other assistants.
Now, Riley could be the latest addition to that staff per reports regarding the Cowboys.
