Dallas Cowboys fans leak address and phone number of two players after loss to Bills
The Dallas Cowboys’ 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday was demoralizing for fans, but a few seem to have taken it harder than others. Upset fans on social media let their frustrations loose by doxxing two members of the Cowboys’ secondary. Doxxing is the act of revealing someone’s personal information online without their consent.
Safety Jayron Kearse had his home address revealed on X (formerly Twitter) while Juanyeh Thomas had his personal phone number posted on the social media platform. According to the Cowboys, it’s not the first time an incident of this nature has impacted the team.
It all began after Kearse shared a clip of one of his tackles on Sunday that resulted in a penalty. A back-and-forth ensued with Thomas stepping in to defend his teammate, leading to his personal information being leaked online. Though the posts in question were deleted, Thomas still had to change his phone number, according to the Dallas Morning News.
“I can take criticism,” Thomas said after owning up to three missed tackles against the Bills. “But you do cross a line when you start doing dumb stuff like that, for real. It’s a line you can’t cross when you start sharing people’s addresses and numbers and stuff. At the end of the day, this is still a game. People got a life.”
The Cowboys’ defense gave up 31 points and 351 total yards to the Bills offense in the loss, making it an exceptionally rough day at the office for Dan Quinn.
Dan Quinn: Cowboys post poor performance tackling
Breaking down how the defense failed on Monday, the veteran coordinator pointed to the poor tackling and the lack of “ball-hawking.” The unit that’s come up with 21 turnovers so far this season couldn’t come up with one on Sunday.

“The biggest impact on this game was our tackling and our ball-hawking,” Quinn said. “We’re excellent at those two things, and we had a poor performance in both. Our tackling wasn’t up to the standard we’ve set. That is our secret sauce, our tackling and our ball-hawking, and we didn’t have it.”
Quinn would like to see his unit create more negative plays than they did against the Bills. They’ll need to on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, which has one of the most explosive offenses in the league this season.
“I would say it’s more in the concentration piece,” Quinn said of improvements they could make this week. “The other is maybe you’re too aggressive. You’re flying past and not taking the right angle. Usually, the truth is somewhere in the middle. In this case, we needed to take the extra step. We weren’t going to lunge and miss because we didn’t have the right angle in taking the next step.”
The Dallas Cowboys face another difficult challenge this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. The Christmas Eve matchup kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET.
