The 5-3 Dallas Cowboys welcome the 2-7 New York Giants to AT&T Stadium on Sunday for a late afternoon divisional matchup. While the Cowboys are relatively healthy going into the Week 10 game, the Giants are still coming to grips with the loss of quarterback Daniel Jones for the rest of the season.
The Cowboys are missing wide receiver and returnman KaVontae Turpin, which means rookie running back Deuce Vaughn is active as his backup. Rookie wide receiver Jalen Brooks is also active, while rookie offensive lineman Asim Richards is now.
Dallas lost to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, which put them 2.5 games behind the NFC East leaders. Now, the Eagles have a bye and matchups against the Chiefs, Bills and 49ers ahead. The Cowboys play the Panthers, Commanders and Seahawks, giving them an opportunity to overtake the Eagles before their rematch in December. First, they have to handle their business against Brian Daboll’s squad.
Ahead of Sunday’s kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET, both teams released their list of inactive players, which reveals who’s in and who’s officially out for the Week 10 game in Arlington.

Cowboys-Giants game draws biggest spread of 2023 season
The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants have seasons going in completely opposite directions, which explains why the Las Vegas oddsmakers have assigned the largest point spread of the season to Sunday’s game in AT&T Stadium. Dallas, the home team, is the 16.5-point favorite for the late afternoon game against their NFC East rivals.

There were a myriad of factors for the oddsmakers to consider when assigning the opening odds. First, the Cowboys defeated the Giants in the season-opener in New York 40-0. It was a dominant performance that spelled doom for the Giants’ season.
Next, New York lost quarterback Daniel Jones for the season last week as the former Duke star suffered an ACL tear against the Raiders. Jones has been repeatedly banged up all season long behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league.
The Giants will start former Syracuse quarterback Tommy DeVito who threw a touchdown and two interceptions last week.
Lastly, the Cowboys, despite coming off of a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, have been hot on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Dak Prescott had one of the best games of his career last Sunday, throwing for 374 passing yards with three touchdowns while throwing no interceptions and taking five sacks.
The Cowboys signed wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the practice squad this week, and elevated linebacker Rashaan Evans to the active roster for gameday.
