Dallas Cowboys injury report: CeeDee Lamb, Trevon Diggs' status revealed after Ravens loss
The Dallas Cowboys released their first injury report for their Week 4 matchup against the New York Giants and shared news on WR CeeDee Lamb and CB Trevon Diggs. Lamb, who is dealing with an ankle injury, was a full participant in practice on Monday. Diggs, who has a foot injury, also fully participated in practice.
Another notable Cowboys player on the injury report is DE DeMarcus Lawrence who was limited in practice because of an injured shoulder. The rest of the injury report includes DT Mazi Smith (back, full participant), TE John Stephens (hamstring, full), S Markquese Bell (ankle, did not participate) and CB Caelen Carson (shoulder, DNP).
The Cowboys will need all the help they can get for the Thursday Night matchup against the Giants. They are coming off a 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and are now 1-2 on the year. After the game, Diggs talked about improving their run defense after the Ravens rushed for 274 yards on Sunday.
“We just need more hats to the ball. It’s the little things we need to clean up. If somebody gets out of their gap, a big hole is gonna be there, and the rest is history,” Diggs said, per the Cowboys’ official website. “It’s small things we’ve gotta fix. We’ve gotta keep working on it. I feel like everybody is on the same page, now. It’s just all about executing and doing it.”

Diggs also talked about playing the Giants on a short week. “I feel like we should still feel it. I feel it for sure,” he said. “When Monday comes, Monday comes and when we need to focus on the next team, we’re gonna focus on the next team, but, we’ve gotta feel this burn. I hate losing. I don’t like losing.”
The Cowboys have lost their last two games after getting a 33-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns to start the year. The interesting thing about the two losses is they came at the Cowboys’ home stadium. Going back to last season, Dallas has lost its last three home games as they fell to the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
