Micah Parson limps off field at halftime of Cowboys playoff game
Micah Parsons has been all over the field on Monday night, on a mission to get the Dallas Cowboys a playoff win. He finally got a holding call against him as well, meaning the All-Pro should be heading into the locker room happy with a 19-0 lead.
Well, that is not the case anymore and there could be an injury to be worried about. As Tampa Bay was running its final play of the first half, Parsons was not taking a snap off. He came off the left side and was rushing quarterback Tom Brady with some authority.
As Brady threw the ball away, the half ended and most everyone headed into the break. The ESPN broadcast changed its camera shot and showed Parsons still on the ground and not getting up quickly. He eventually tried walking to the locker room but still had some trouble.
Nearly everything has gone right for Dallas in the first half, especially for a playoff game on the road. Losing Parsons to any kind of injury would be a devastating blow. If the Cowboys can hold onto a win, they would be facing San Francisco in the Divisional round.

Micah Parsons back on field to begin second half
Dallas can take a deep sigh of relief as Parsons has returned to the field to begin the second half. ESPN’s Joe Buck said they were told a shin injury was bothering the pass rusher, hitting the leg of somebody while rushing the passer.
“At the end of the first half, we saw Micah Parsons limp away,” Buck said. “Had his right leg hit. We were told it’s a shin issue. He kind of walked back out onto the field at the end of halftime. Little bit of a limp — we’ll keep an eye out on that.”
Even if Parsons had a slight injury, he would find a way to get himself on the field. More information will be available once the game is over.
