Cowboys make final decision on status of CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper
The Dallas Cowboys just got some positive news on the offensive side of the ball. Wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper will both be active on Sunday when the Cowboys take on the Denver Broncos, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Lamb has been dealing with an ankle injury while Cooper has had a hamstring issue, but the Cowboys will luckily have both available on Sunday.
Cooper and Lamb are the top two pass catching options for the Cowboys. On the season, Lamb leads the team with 39 receptions, 57 targets, and 609 receiving yards. he also has four touchdowns. Cooper has 38 receptions on 56 targets for 495 yards and a team leading five touchdowns.
Another huge reinforcement is coming for the Cowboys offense
In addition to Cooper and Lamb being active, the Cowboys will also be getting quarterback Dak Prescott back on Sunday. Prescott was unable to play last week due to a calf injury, leaving backup Cooper Rush to fill in. Rush actually played very well in the Cowboys 20-16 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. He completed 24 of his 40 passes for 325 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
