Micah Parsons gives take on this year's Super Bowl quarterbacks
After putting together a standout rookie season with the Dallas Cowboys, linebacker Micah Parsons is now just sitting back and enjoying being able to watch some NFL action on TV. While he’d love for his Cowboys team to still be alive in the postseason, Parsons is satisfied with the upcoming Super Bowl matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams.
Following Sunday’s AFC and NFC championship games, Parsons took to Twitter to share his excitement for Super Bowl 56 – and the quarterback matchup between Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow and Los Angeles’ Matthew Stafford.
“Man I love this year Super Bowl!!,” Parsons wrote. “Matt and Joey are both some great dudes!! Can’t wait 2 watch!!”
The matchup between Burrow and Stafford is bound to be an exciting one, as the two quarterbacks have both put together successful seasons for their respective teams. While Burrow has thrown for 4,611 yards and 34 touchdowns, Stafford has totaled 4,886 yards and 41 scores – setting up what should be an exciting Super Bowl contest.
Parsons calls out media to end narrative following rookie season
Micah Parsons put together a sensational rookie season for the Dallas Cowboys. The former Penn State standout certainly didn’t look like a first-year NFL player in 2021, as he racked up 84 total tackles and 13 sacks with three forced fumbles to help lead the Cowboys to a 12-win season.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
While Parsons’ name is already known all around the NFL as he’s considered one of the best defenders in the league, the Cowboys star is getting fed up with the media asking the question “who’s going to be the next Micah Parsons?”
Although it can be taken as a compliment for Parsons, the linebacker just wants to be himself for now – especially after his very first NFL season just ended, and that’s understandable.
“We gotta cut this next Micah parsons bs!! Let me be me for a little bit first ! Damn!,” Parsons wrote Monday morning on Twitter.
Parsons – a former On3 Consensus five-star recruit out of the Class of 2018 who was selected No. 12 overall by Dallas in the 2021 NFL Draft – signed a four-year contract worth over $17 million after being drafted. His average salary is over $4 million.
