LOOK: Micah Parsons shares NSFW response to Giants QB Daniel Jones' new deal
The NFL world had mixed reactions to the New York Giants’ new four-year, $160 million deal for quarterback Daniel Jones that the franchise made official on Tuesday. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons shared his own NSFW reaction on Twitter, which drew more than 16,000 likes.
“Fuc# it I’m switching to Qb!” Parsons tweeted.
Jones locked in an extension for four years, $160 million, which matches the deal the Cowboys gave Parsons’ quarterback, Dak Prescott, two years ago.
Parsons, who is now heading into his third season in the NFL, is still a year or two away from inking what could be the most lucrative deal of his career.
The former Penn State star won the defensive rookie of the year award in 2021 and followed it up with a top-three finish for defensive MVP this year. In two seasons, Parsons has 146 total tackles with 26.5 sacks and six forced fumbles.
Once the time comes, the Cowboys defender could easily rake in a salary that puts him among the top-five edge rushers in the league. T.J. Watt leads the group, making $28 million per year, while Joey Bosa makes $27 million per season and Myles Garrett makes $25 million.

Prescott comments on potential contract extension
Serving as a guest speaker at the Grant Halliburton Foundation’s annual Beacon of Hope Luncheon, Dak Prescott fielded questions about his future. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones discussed the team having a “plan” to extend the star QB last week. However, Prescott wouldn’t divulge much more than that.
“100% I’m excited to be a Dallas Cowboy, as I said, always dreamed I’d be here,” Prescott said, via the Dallas Morning News‘ Calvin Watkins. “Now I’m here, I don’t expect to play for any other team. Now, it’s just about winning.
“Just trying to get that done. To hear from the front office, as you said, looking forward to an extension. When the time comes, it’ll happen. I’m with Stephen on it, it may just happen overnight. But when it happens, it happens. It’ll be great.”
