Dak Prescott announces he is expecting first child
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is having a banner week. First, he ripped into a turkey leg as the MVP of the Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Commanders after another four-touchdown performance. Now, the 30-year-old has revealed that he is expecting a baby, his first, with his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos. The couple announced their first child will be a girl.
“A little bit of Heaven sent down to Earth,” the expecting mother wrote on Instagram with several maternity photoshoot pictures. “Our immeasurable blessing. I cannot wait to raise a strong, confident, beautiful baby girl with you @4dak”
“Beyond Blessed! Girl Dad incoming,” Prescott captioned the post as he shared it to his own social media.
Prescott also posted a touching comment on Ramos’ announcement. The expecting mother turned 30
“How thankful I am to do this with you can’t be explained!” the future dad commented. “God makes no mistakes and nothing is coincidental and for that, I thank Him Daily! I love you, and y’all can always count on me. Let’s do this Mama.”
The Cowboys quarterback’s brother Tad also commented on the post, sharing his excitement with the happy couple.

“Finally going to be an Uncle and If you know what my brother means to me, you can only imagine the joy this brings me,” he wrote. “Both @sarahjane and this baby are already loved so much, and forever under the Prescott umbrella. I promise Uncle Tad got ya. Can’t wait to meet ya.”
Prescott and Ramos made their relationship public on social media over the last few months. Now, they’ll venture into the world of parenthood as the QB continues navigating his eighth season in the league.
Prescott ties Tony Romo for franchise record
Thanks to a 331-yard passing night from Prescott against the Commanders, the Cowboys moved to 8-3 on the season this week. The victory was his 10th career game with four touchdowns, tying Tony Romo for the most games with four touchdowns in Cowboys history.
“Pretty cool,” Prescott said about the achievement. “I can’t say I’ve been one to care for numbers, but watching this team growing up and being a Cowboys fan, it’s humbling. Coming in and spending my rookie year with Tony, growing up watching Tony, understanding all of the success he has, it’s pretty cool. I want so much bigger than personal records, though. I’m just gonna keep my head down and keep working.”
The Cowboys don’t play again until Thursday when they take on the Seattle Seahawks.
