Ezekiel Elliott was a limited participant in practice Wednesday as the Cowboys star continues to nurse a knee injury that has kept him out of action since late October.

Elsewhere, the Dallas injury report is rather slim compared to past weeks. Six players, including Elliott, made the list. The most notable of which being offensive starters Michael Gallup and Tyler Smith were full-go Wednesday, while former NFL sacks leader DeMarcus Lawrence was sidelined with a foot injury.

The Cowboys released defensive end Mika Tafua, making room for the signing of Callaway. Additionally, on Tuesday, Dallas moved rookie center Alec Lindstrom to injured reserve and signed Hoffman in his place.

McKinley had actually worked out with Dallas in the offseason. The 26-year-old, originally drafted by Dan Quinn and the Atlanta Falcons in 2017, ended up playing against his new team before the Rams released him in mid-October.

Since leaving UCLA for the NFL, McKinley has racked up 98 tackles, including 20 sacks, and three forced fumbles. He played four seasons for Atlanta, one for Cleveland and four games this year for the Rams.
