Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Tuesday injury report
The Cowboys have released their Tuesday injury report, listing new injury designations before taking on the Eagles on Christmas Eve. Dallas and Philadelphia are coming off a short turnaround before their game on Saturday night, leaving Tuesday’s injury report as an estimation while they held walkthroughs only.
Cowboys vs Eagles Tuesday injury report
Did Not Practice — Cowboys: LB Micah Parsons (Illness), LB Leighton Vander Esch (Neck)
Limited Participation – Cowboys: DE Dorance Armstrong (Knee), WR Noah Brown (Foot), TE Jake Ferguson (Concussion), S Jayron Kearse (Shoulder/Back), DE DeMarcus Lawrence (Foot)
The biggest surprise on the injury report in the early week is Micah Parsons being listed as “Did Not Practice” with illness. The estimated report does not necessarily reflect how Wednesday’s practice will go for Parsons however, and the day could function as a normal day of rest for the defensive star. Also listed as out from practice is Leighton Vander Esch who was already ruled out for Christmas Eve by Dan Quinn.
Meanwhile, the Eagles were rocked by a surprise injury after their 25-20 win over the Bears on Wednesday — learning that quarterback and MVP candidate Jalen Hurts suffered a shoulder injury. While initial reports indicated that the injury was a shoulder sprain and that he would likely not miss significant time, the Eagles have a decision to make with the NFC’s top seed nearly locked up.

The unfortunate injury adds another layer of drama around the Dallas-Philadelphia rematch from earlier this year — which the Eagles won 26-17. At the time, Dallas was without their starting quarterback with Dak Prescott recovering from thumb surgery. Now, Philadelphia might be in the same position if they give Hurts some extra rest on Saturday.
Both Dallas and Philadelphia have secured playoff spots coming into the week, with the Eagles still playing to secure the No. 1 seed and a first-round playoff bye.
