Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Wednesday injury report

The Dallas Cowboys have their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice ahead of their Saturday night matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Cowboys running back Tony Pollard and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts lead the names injured on the short-week of preparation.
Also of note for the Cowboys this week, star rookie Micah Parsons was placed on the COVID-19 list.
Cowboys vs Eagles Wednesday injury report
Limited Participation – Cowboys: RB Rony Pollard(Foot), S Jayron Kearse(Hamstring)
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the other piece of their two-headed rushing attack is dealing with an injury as well. Pollard’s foot will likely keep him limited in practice this week, but it’s unclear if it is serious enough to hold him out of the final game of the season.
The Cowboys may opt to rest Pollard and keep him fresh for the playoffs. Several Cowboys players and owner Jerry Jones have already stated they intend to finish the season completely and without resting, but Pollard’s injury could be a difference in his case.
Safety Jayron Kearse rounds out the list of players dealing with injuries on as he recovers from a hamstring injury. The strength and consistency of the Cowboys defense continues to be their defensive line, and having a thin secondary could open up more concerns about their ability to contain big plays.

Full Participation – Cowboys: RB Ezekiel Elliott(Knee)
Ezekiel Elliott continues to feel stronger every week with a knee injury that has plagued him nearly the entire season. Elliott began wearing a knee brace to help with the stability, and injury concerns appear to be disappearing for the star running back as the playoffs approach.
Did Not Participate – Eagles: OL Landon Dickerson(Thumb), T Lane Johnson(Rest/Knee), RB Miles Sanders(Hand)
Limited Participation – Eagles: LB Shaun Bradley(Stinger), QB Jalen Hurts(Ankle)
Full Participation – Eagles: C/G Jack Anderson(Illness), WR Quez Watkins(Knee)
The Eagles have clinched a playoff spot of their own with the final game of the season approaching. Jalen Hurts has been a feature of the injury report as a limited participant with an ankle injury. With their playoff spot secured and being guaranteed a road game in the first round, the Eagles may look to keep their starters safe on the sidelines.
Philadelphia also has 12 players on the COVID-19 list as of Wednesday, with the potential to see them cleared for action on Saturday night.
