Dallas Cowboys: Week 15 inactives vs Jaguars
The Dallas Cowboys have released its Week 15 injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Notably for Dallas, T.Y Hilton will not be making his debut with the Cowboys after signing with the team earlier in the week. Linebacker Jabril Cox is also inactive, among others.
Prior to Sunday, the only player on either team to be ruled out is Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson, who missed practice all week with a concussion.
While the Cowboys dodged any major injury bugs throughout the week, the status of Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence and Travon Walker – the No. 1 overall picks in the 2021 and 2022 NFL Drafts, respectively – were up in the air all week.
Lawrence (ankle) didn’t participate in practice on Wednesday and was limited the rest of the week. Walker (ankle) didn’t practice in any capacity this week, bringing his status into doubt heading into Sunday. Ultimately, Lawrence was cleared to play and Walker was sent to the inactives list.

Cowboys OL Tyron Smith set to make season debut vs Jaguars
Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Tyron Smith was activated from injured reserve earlier this week and will make his season debut Sunday versus the Jaguars. Smith suffered a hamstring injury just weeks before the season began and has been rehabbing ever since.
The team designated the former USC star for return from the injured reserve last Wednesday. He hasn’t played yet this season after suffering an avulsion fracture in his knee. There was speculation that he’d make his season debut last week vs. the Texans, but a full week of preparation for the Jaguars has put him in prime position for his comeback Sunday.
In related news, C Brock Hoffman has also been elevated from practice squad after it was announced that right tackle Terence Steele would miss the rest of the season.
