The picks for Week 9 are in, including who Mullen has winning the SEC showdown between LSU and Texas A&M.

Dan Mullen also made picks for Navy vs. Notre Dame, BYU vs. UCF, Indiana vs. Washington, Missouri vs. Alabama and Illinois vs. Oregon.

Navy vs. Notre Dame (-13.5)

Navy is off to a 6-0 start to the season, but the Midshipmen will face by far their toughest test to date on Saturday. Notre Dame has an excellent defense and has played well since being upset by Northern Illinois in Week 2.

Dan Mullen has Notre Dame winning to improve to 7-1 on the year. However, he does have Navy covering the 13.5-point spread.

BYU at UCF (-2.5)

Another undefeated team involved in a big game this weekend is BYU facing UCF. The Cougars are still undefeated after escaping with a win over Oklahoma State last weekend.

However, it’s UCF that is a 2.5-point favorite. Mullen has BYU covering the spread and winning the game outright.

Washington at Indiana (-6.5)

Indiana aced its first true test of the season last weekend, destroying Nebraska 56-7. The more the Hoosiers win, the bigger the games become, and they have another important contest this week as they are hosting Washington.

Mullen expects the Hoosiers to continue to roll and has Indiana beating Washington and covering the 6.5-points spread.

Missouri at Alabama (-18)

Alabama will look to get back on track this weekend when it hosts Missouri. The Crimson Tide are big favorites, despite being less than impressive in recent weeks.

Dan Mullen has Alabama winning the game and bouncing back from its loss to Tennessee. However, he also has the Tigers covering the spread.

Illinois at Oregon (-22)

Oregon has hit its stride in recent weeks after some challenging games to open the season. The Ducks are big favorites against an Illinois team that is 6-1 on the year.

Mullen expects Illinois to be able to cover the spread, but he also likes Oregon to win the game.

LSU at Texas A&M (-1):

The only two remaining undefeated teams in SEC play will face off this weekend when Texas A&M hosts LSU. The Aggies and Tigers both dropped their season openers in out-of-conference games, before responding with six straight wins. This is a huge game as far as reaching the College Football Playoff and SEC title game

Mullen expects Texas A&M to take care of business at home and continue on as the only undefeated team in SEC play.
