The Pat McAfee Show may have turned a frequent guest into an enemy. Dan Orlovsky was not happy with the show’s antics in a recent appearance.
Orlovsky and ESPN colleague Stephen A. Smith were recently in a commercial alongside Denzel Washington for a new movie, The Equalizer 3. Orlovsky and Smith are not in the film, but it didn’t stop McAfee and his show from asking the ex-NFL quarterback about it.
The conversation took an awkward turn when Orlovsky asked who his Hollywood look-alike would be. He mentioned John Krasinski — better known as Jim from The Office. Several members of the show started roasting Orlovsky, leading to some tension.
“All you guys are talking like your 10s, dude!” Orlovsky ranted. “You guys hit me with Beetlejuice and Paul Giamatti.”
But what really set Orlovsky off was when McAfee mentioned Paul Walter Hauser, then tossed a picture up on the screen. The NFL analyst then quickly and abruptly hung up on the show.
“Alright, I’m out dude,” Orlovsky said, seemingly annoyed at the show attempting to downplay his handsomeness. “I’m never coming on this show again.”
Below is the full clip with tensions brewing between the two sides:
Things escalated pretty quickly, didn’t they? Did McAfee and his crew go a little too far? Or did Orlovsky take the jokes a little too personally?

In an X (formerly Twitter) post after his appearance, Orlovsky wrote, “They called me Beetlejuice and Wesley Snipes man. Last time (Pat McAfee Show).”
It will be interesting to see if Orlovsky stays true to his word and boycotts the Pat McAfee Show moving forward.
Fans respond to Dan Orlovsky’s abrupt exit
As you can imagine, plenty of viewers of the Pat McAfee Show had thoughts about Orlovsky’s exit … and also his look-alike. There were several responses on X.
“How did Pat and the boys not say the guy who plays Dennis from its always sunny in Philadelphia? Or are you the actor in this one too Dan,” one user wrote. “I always noticed a striking resemblance between you and ‘Dennis.'”
Another added, “Don’t pull a PMS evasion, you know how well that went with your taxes Wes.”
“I love this show but I’m always surprised more people don’t just hang up lol,” someone else said.
So, it’s fair to say that there were some mixed reactions to how things unfolded during the show and Orlovsky’s actions.
