Dan Quinn, Jim Nantz create hilarious reaction to Jayden Daniels-Noah Brown Hail Mary game-winner
Washington Commanders (6-2) head coach Dan Quinn shared an epic reaction to his team executing a game-winning Hail Mary in Sunday’s Week 8 home game against the Chicago Bears (4-3).
As he rushed onto the field after Jayden Daniels connected with Noah Brown to give the Commanders an 18-15 victory, Quinn was looking to hug somebody, anybody wearing a black jersey. He got at least one in as he celebrated with his team.
When you win a game like that in the NFL, a reaction such as Quinn’s is warranted. Hail Mary’s are obviously not an everyday occurrence, and they rarely look as sweet as this one. Jayden Daniels held onto the ball for nearly 13 seconds before heaving it to the end zone into a crowd of both Bears and Commanders. Bears safety Kevin Byard made the initial contact, tipping it behind him.
Waiting in the end zone by himself was Brown, who easily made the catch for the 52-yard score.
Commanders’ Jayden Daniels connects with Noah Brown for miraculous walk-off Hail Mary
Just minutes before, the Commanders put themselves in a situation where their only path to victory was a Hail Mary. Washington, clinging to a 12-7 lead with under a minute to go, surrendered a one-yard score to running back Roschon Johnson. The Bears took a 15-12 lead after successfully converting the two-point conversion.

A couple of completions set up the Commanders for the Hail Mary attempt with six seconds remaining. The rest, as they say, is history.
“Nothing but God, man. Nothing but God,” Jayden Daniels told CBS Sports after the game. “Without him, I don’t even think I’d be playing this week. But man, all glory to God.”
