Davante Adams trade rumors: Damian Lillard blasts reported Raiders trade demands

After reports emerged on Tuesday that the Las Vegas Raiders are interested in trading receiver Davante Adams, NBA star Damian Lillard weighed in with his thoughts on the reported asking price.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders would “consider” a move for a package around a second-round pick and other compensation.
That irked Lillard.
“If the Raiders trade Tae for a damn 2nd round pick I’m done,” the Milwaukee Bucks star wrote on Twitter.
Lillard, of course, is from Oakland and thus has some affinity for the Raiders franchise. But it isn’t always an easy ride. And what the organization can command for one of the league’s best receivers will be an interesting test.
Adams is coming off his fourth straight season with at least 1,000 yards receiving, one of the most consistently productive wideouts in the NFL.
In his career, Davante Adams has logged 890 catches for 10,990 yards and 96 touchdowns.
Controversy swirls over Antonio Pierce Instagram like
Questions about Adams’ future in Vegas further grew after head coach Antonio Pierce appeared to “like” an Instagram post. It included a screenshot of a post from Sports Illustrated’s Michael Fabiano telling fans not to be surprised if Adams played his last snap with the Raiders.

During an appearance with Kay Adams on FanDuel’s Up and Adams, Davante Adams said he hadn’t spoken with Pierce since the post went viral. Instead, he didn’t want to “stir the pot.”
“I haven’t heard from [Pierce]. I haven’t talked to him,” Adams said. “Don’t really know exactly what that was about. … It’s one of those situations where I just keep my head down and keep doing my thing and let the chips fall where they may. There’s been no communication with anybody from the team since that became a thing. But it’s kind of just like the weekly, ‘What’s up with Tae?’ thing. It’s always some sort of drama. But, at the end of the day, 17 doesn’t create any of it.
“So, people can say what they want, but I’m just chilling and trying to be the model for not stirring the pot and just locking in and doing what I got to do.”
