Davante Adams trade rumors: Potential trade teams informed on timetable for injury, status vs. Broncos per report
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is looking to be traded, and his current injury status has been revealed. According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, teams who are having conversations with the Raiders about Adams have been informed his hamstring injury is expected to keep him sidelined for one or two weeks. Adams is expected to miss at least Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos but could return the following week if there are no setbacks.
The hamstring injury prevented Adams from playing in the Week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns. A couple of teams who have reportedly shown interest in a trade for the Pro Bowl wide receiver are the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Trade rumors began to heat up when Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce appeared to “like” a social media post suggesting the team could move on from Adams. While appearing on FanDuel TV’s Up And Adams show, host Kay Adams asked Davante Adams if he had played his last down with the Raiders.

“All I can control is this talk we’re having right here,” Adams responded, per NFL.com. “After we’re done with this, all I can control is the next thing that I’m on to. I’m going to get up in a minute and get a nice workout in, and that’s all I can control.”

On Wednesday, Pierce gave a quick update on Adams’ injury but answered no questions about the trade rumors. “Davante’s dealing with a hamstring, he’s rehabbing, and the rest of us are focused on Denver,” he told reporters.“
Adams, 31, is in his third year with the Raiders and is coming off his four-consecutive 1,100-yard plus season. He has a base salary of $16.89 million and has two additional years remaining on his current contract. The final two years on the contract feature zero guaranteed money, meaning whoever trades for Adams would be getting him for just the 2024 season unless he signs a new deal.
