Davante Adams trade rumors: Report emerges about Las Vegas Raiders WR
The Las Vegas Raiders (2-2) are growing open to the idea of trading star wideout Davante Adams, per a report from Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Las Vegas has reportedly begun reaching out to teams to gauge interest in the 31-year-old. The NFL trade deadline is at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Adams is in his third season with the Raiders, coming over via trade from the Green Bay Packers (2-2) ahead of the 2022 campaign. He has three years remaining on the five-year, $140 million extension he signed with Las Vegas. The three-time All-Pro has continued to produce in silver and black, hauling in 221 receptions for 2,869 yards and 23 touchdowns in 37 games with the Raiders. Adams did not suit up in Sunday’s 20-16 Week 4 win over the Cleveland Browns (1-3), sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Head coach Antonio Pierce appeared to like an Instagram post on Monday where Michael Fabiano of Sports Illustrated wrote that Adams has potentially played his final snap with the Raiders.

“I haven’t heard from [Pierce]. I haven’t talked to him,” Adams said. “Don’t really know exactly what that was about. … It’s one of those situations where I just keep my head down and keep doing my thing and let the chips fall where they may. There’s been no communication with anybody from the team since that became a thing. But it’s kind of just like the weekly, ‘What’s up with Tae?’ thing. It’s always some sort of drama. But, at the end of the day, 17 doesn’t create any of it.
“So, people can say what they want, but I’m just chilling and trying to be the model for not stirring the pot and just locking in and doing what I got to do.”
Adams has been subject to trade rumors as the Raiders have failed to stack consistent performances over the last few years, along with some of his public outbursts of frustration during the Josh McDaniels regime.
Asked directly if he’s played his final snap with the Raiders, Adams gave a noncommittal answer.
“All I can control is this talk we’re having right here,” Adams said, via Tashan Reed of The Athletic. “And then, after we’re done with this, all I can control is the next thing that I’m on to. I’ma get up in a minute and go get a nice workout in, and that’s all I can control.”
