De'Aaron Fox releasing ‘Lexington’ signature shoe to honor Kentucky career

San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox is set to release a new shoe to honor his career with the Kentucky Wildcats. Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio went to X/Twitter to share a photo of the “Lexington” signature shoe under the Stephen Curry brand. The shoe will be released to the public on Friday, March 7, and will cost $120.
De’Aaron Fox’s new shoe comes three months after releasing his first signature sneaker. Fox released the Curry Fox 1 on December 6, just a couple of weeks before his 27th birthday.
“Together we created a sneaker that not only performs at the highest level on the court but truly feels authentic to me in its design and every detail,” Fox said in November. “From the fox tail on the strap to the sleek silhouette to the colorful accents, everything about this sneaker embodies the joy and passion I try to bring to my game every single day. I am beyond excited to share the Fox 1 with the world and see players at every level wear this shoe as they chase their own basketball dreams.”
De’Aaron Fox made a splash in his Spurs debut
“From a performance standpoint, De’Aaron is a big fan of the FloTro technology, and he took his own approach with it in the Fox 1 and made it his own, adding his personal touches with his background and his story,” Stephen Curry said. “The most obvious feature that you have not seen in any other Curry Band sneaker is the strap. It’s this cool feature that adds a little bit of a different aesthetic to the shoe.”
