DeMarcus Lawrence injury update: Cowboys DE taken to locker room vs. Giants
There have already been a few injury scares for the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. Micah Parsons was one but after dealing with a neck stinger, he returned to the game. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is the latest but this injury seems a little more serious.
Lawrence had to limp off the field during the third quarter and according to those at the game, his shoe was taken off and examined by doctors. He then made his way to the locker room to reportedly get an X-ray.
“#Cowboys medical and athletic training staff had DeMarcus Lawrence’s shoe off to examine him,” Mike Garafolo of The NFL Network said via X. “Now back on as he heads to the tunnel near the X-ray room.”
The availability of Lawrence was soon revealed by Garafolo. Sounds like there is a chance he will get back into the game at some point.

Micah Parsons leaves Cowboys game with neck injury
Micah Parsons left Thursday’s game against the New York Giants in the second quarter after the spotter appeared to buzz down to the officials. He immediately headed to the injury tent.
Parsons went to make a play on a pass from Daniel Jones to Wan’Dale Robinson, but left the field with an official afterward. The trainers then took him to the medical tent for further evaluation as the Giants made a field goal to make it a 7-6 Cowboys lead.
As Parsons went to make the tackle on Robinson, teammate Mazi Smith came in to help and appeared to hit him in the helmet. Afterward, the referee took him to the sideline, where he met with the training staff. The team later said he had a neck injury but would continue to play in the game.
