Denny Hamlin and longtime girlfriend Jordan Fish get engaged
After years together and two children later, Denny Hamlin and Jordan Fish are engaged to be married, sharing the news on New Year’s Day. The NASCAR driver has decided now is time to settle down officially and popped the question.
The couple shared the news on Instagram on Monday. Hamlin and his family are vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A perfect place to ask the big question! Looks like everyone involved is happy and excited about the news.
Of course, we have to give credit to Jordan for her excellent joke at Hamlin’s expense.
“Rings: DH: 0, Jordan: 1.”
Denny Hamlin has tried just about everything to win a championship. He’s lost close ones and had a few that should have been his, arguably. However, he has never tried being married while racing – that might be the edge he needs to get his Bill France Cup.
Denny Hamlin isn’t wearing a sling
Now, how about we do some Monday speculation? This is one of the few photos we’ve seen of Denny Hamlin since he had his shoulder surgery. At the NASCAR Awards, he was in a sling. From these photos, I’m not seeing a sling or anything like that. Perhaps Hamlin is ahead of schedule when it comes to his recovery.
Then again, he isn’t moving his right arm in any of those photos, kind of just dangling it next to him. So who knows?
While Hamlin will race the Daytona 500 for sure, the Busch Light Clash is up in the air. Depending on when his shoulder heals and his pain tolerance, Hamlin could miss the exhibition.

In the New Year, Hamlin should have a few goals he wants to achieve. We broke down resolutions for all of Joe Gibbs Racing the other day.
Here’s what Denny Hamlin needs to focus on (according to me):
– Fully embrace the villain role
– Win 3+ races
– Win the regular season championship
– Make the Championship 4
Hamlin was so close to accomplishing the last two marks on this list in 2023. The regular season just slipped from his hands. He missed the Championship 4 after a pair of poor races in the Round of 8.
In 2024, I hope Denny Hamlin leans into his role as NASCAR’s bad guy and wins a few races in the process, it’s good for the sport.
